ANDREAS OBERHOFF - (1984-1986) - Drums: "Watch Out!", "Metal Revolution"
ATOMIC STEIF - (1986-1989) - Drums: "Back to the Weapons", "Protected From Reality", "Worlds
Neuroses". Steif replaced Frank Ullrich for Holy Moses,
recorded one album with them (World Chaos), and played on tour
until
the end of 90, when he was finally replaced by Sven Herwig. Later Steif was the drummer for Sodom ('93-'96). His most recent band now is Stahltrager.
DIETER KELCH - (1980-1991) - Bass: All Living Death albums
ERIC - Guest drummer. "Vengeance of Hell"
FRANK FRICKE - (1980-?1988) - Guitar: "Vengeance of Hell", "Watch Out!", "Metal Revolution",
"Back to the Weapons", "Protected From Reality", "Worlds Neuroses". Involved in the Mekong Delta
project under the alias Rolf Stein (1987-1989) Played guitar on MD albums: "Mekong Delta" (1987),
"The Gnome" (1988 EP), "The Music of Erich Zann" (1988), "Toccata" (1989 EP), "The Principle of Doubt" (1989). Fricke leaves MD after "The Principle
of Doubt" album "to concentrate on other musical styles". Post Living Death Fricke co-founded the band Laos in 1990. Fricke was also involved in the X-mas Project (Vol. 1) with fellow band members Bergmann and R. Kelch.,
and was second guitarist on U.D.O's "Time Bomb" tour ('91-'92) replacing Wolla Bohm.
FRANK SCHUBRING - (1981-1983) - Initial drummer: Records first demo with LD but leaves before any
official studio release.
FRANK ULLRICH - (1989-1991) - Drums: "Killing in Action". After Living Death's disbandment later
joined Gravedigger (1995) and only played for one year. Ullrich was a Holy Moses tour member in spring of 90, when Uli
Kusch left the band and joined Gamma Ray. When Frank
left Holy Moses to join Living Death, he was replaced by Atomic Steif.
GERALD THELEN - (1989-1991) - Vocals: "Killing in Action"
HARALD LUTZE - (1984) - Drums: was only with the band a short time. Not part of any album release.
REINER KELCH - (1980-1991) - Guitar: All Living Death albums. Involved in the Mekong Delta project
under the alias Vincent St. John (1987-1988) Played guitar on MD albums: "Mekong Delta" (1987), "The Gnome"
(1988 EP), "The Music of Erich Zann" (1988), "Toccata" (1989 EP). Kelch leaves MD after "The Music of Erich Zann" album because of
"differences with other band members". Also was involved in the X-mas Project (Vol. 1) with fellow band members Fricke and Bergmann.
THORSTEN BERGMANN (TOTO) - (1981-1988) - Vocals: "Vengeance of Hell", "Watch Out!", "Metal Revolution",
"Back to the Weapons", "Protected From Reality", "Worlds Neuroses". Sang vocals in a side project called the
X-mas Project (Vol. 1). Original release came out as a 4 track EP and was called "Banging 'round the X-Mas Tree".
The EP was later re-released as a 9 track which featured the 4 original tracks plus 5 additional. Toto sang on two tracks.
Post "Worlds Neuroses" Toto forms the band Sacred Chao with Atomic Steif and possibly members from Holy Moses and Violent Force. At least one album is released (Sacred Chao EP - 1989) before Toto ends his music career. In 1998 he returns from retirement to guest vocal on the track "Metalized Blood" on Desaster's "Hellfire's Dominion" release.
