| The ASAC will be holding a judging seminar December
11 and 12.
This will include one-day classroom and one-day judging practice It will be based on IAC standards as used by IMAC |
|
| The purpose of the seminar is to bring a better understanding
of the principles of judging.
This in turn should better inform pilots what udges are looking for. How can a competitor fly 10’s if he doesn’t know what the judge is looking for? IMAC contests have always been weak in finding truly qualified judges. How many times have you attended a contest that had left you wondering about the judging? We need to get serious about the matter of how maneuvers are scored. We need to educate as many as possible on the standards of scoring. Judging is not that difficult. Knowing what to look for is all that is required. This class is intended to do that. It will follow full scale IAC guide lines as IMAC has intended. And it will be fun or else. |
