1. We believe in the verbal, plenary, infallible, inerrant, unlimited inspiration of the Bible, both Old and New Testaments. The Bible and the Bible alone is the written Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Matt. 4:4, Titus 1:2, John 17:17, Proverbs 30:5:-6, Revelation 22:18-19.)
2. We believe in the Trinity: that there is one true God, who is the Creator of all things, that He is one simple, indivisible, infinite spirit Being who exists as three eternally distinct, but not separate, persons--the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit--each of whom is fully (all of)--and not part of--God. He is eternal, holy, righteous, loving, just, merciful, gracious, infinite, all-powerful, all-knowing, and omnipresent. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, 1 Peter 1:2.)
3. We believe in the virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death on the cross, bodily resurrection, ascension to heaven, and coming return of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully man. (John 1:1-3, 14; Luke 1:34, 35; Philippians 2:5-11; 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4; Hebrews 8:1, 2; John 14:1-3.)
4. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ's finished work alone, plus nothing. God is holy, righteous, and sinless and He requires absolute sinless righteousness of us. God created man in a wonderful perfect world free of sin, but because Adam chose to sin in the garden of Eden, all human beings are sinful from conception and choose to do wrong things (sin), and are completely unable to save themselves from the punishment due them. The Bible says that the wages of sin is death, which is separation from God in the eternal lake of fire (hell). And there is nothing we can do to become perfect or sinless or "good enough" or to "earn" heaven. But the good news of the Gospel is that the Bible also says that the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ. The Lord God Jesus Christ came to earth as a man (while still being fully God) and lived a perfectly righteous, sinless life. He was the spotless Lamb of God, the infinite, perfect, sinless sacrifice for our sins, who shed His blood and died on the cross for us, taking the punishment for our sins that we deserve, as our substitute. And after three days, He rose to life again (in the same body yet glorified), appearing to many eyewitnesses, and after that ascended to heaven where He is now. Jesus is the only Way of salvation, and He promises that whoever believes in Him will live forever with Him and will never go to hell; if you believe in Jesus as your Savior, you will be forgiven of all your sins (past, present, and future) and they will be blotted out of existence forever, and your record will be completely clean forever, and the righteousness of God will be imputed to you (credited to your account, without you having any righteousness within you), and you will be saved and given eternal life immediately; your spirit will be born again, connected to God's Spirit forever. Whoever trusts in Jesus' blood alone for their salvation will never lose their salvation or eternal life. That is the promise of Jesus. He says, "and I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand." There is nothing we must do to "stay saved" or to get to heaven--once Jesus saves us, we are saved forever. Period. In fact, God's Word says that we have already been seated in heaven: "But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our wrongdoings, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,"! The Bible says, "These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life." (John 10:28, Ephesians 2:4-6, 1 John 5:13, New American Standard Bible.) 5. We believe in the physical return of Jesus, when He will resurrect the dead in Christ who, together with the redeemed who are still living, will be taken to heaven. (1 Corinthians 15:51-54, 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17.)
