DBK STYLE

Dry Bone Kingdom plays punk/ska. Much of the time it ends up a bit lighter of the two with a poppy sound. We have very few screams or yells, not too harsh, nor light either. Its usually an easy singing or rapping style. The guitar is usually strumming the offbeat ska strum or punklike distortion. The bass is a major strongpoint with alot of walking basslines and great "Sublime" like beats.

DBK HISTORY

Dry Bone Kingdom formed in June of 1998. Josh, Cody, and Travis started jamming out with a set of drums, a guitar, and a bass. The band began. Soon after Dante joined the band as a second guitarist, but the band lacked in the area of drums. So Dante filled in as drummer for a short time. Then Paul joined the band in early November to be the permanant drummer in the band. By Christmas 1998, we had played 5 shows including 2 back yard shows, a Catholic Church, and two Christian clubs. On December 11 we played our first "big" show. We opened for the Sprigz at the Exchange in Tempe, AZ.
