Bus picks up clients at Deer Lake Airport

At 8:00 A.M.on Monday morning half the crew (30 people) will leave Springdale by boat, while the other 30 people will leave by bus. When both crews meet in St. Anthony they will switch rides and head back to Springdale on the other mode of transportation.

CREW "A" BOAT......The boat crew will leave Springdale on Monday morning and proceed across the mouth of Green Bay to Lascie for lunch and a short stopover. From LaScie it's an scenic trip across the mouth of White Bay to Harbour Deep, an isolated community where they will spend Monday night. On Tuesday they leave Harbour Deep and head up the coast of the Great Nothern Peninsula to Conche for a lunch stop and then on to St. Anthony for Tuesday night.

CREW "B" BUS......The bus crew will leave Springdale and proceed to Rocky Harbour and the UNESCO World Heritage site at Gros Morne National Park, where they will spend Monday night. From Rocky Harbour it's on to the St. Barbe Ferry for the straits crossing to Quebec and Southern Labrador where they will visit the Basque Whaling National Historic site at Red Bay and spend Tuesday night. On Wednesday it's back to the ferry and on to St. Anthony and a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Viking site at Lanse aux Meadows. Wednesday night will be spent here and a short rendez-vous with the other crew.

CREW "A" BUS......At St. Anthony the crews will switch rides. The original boat crew now becomes the bus crew and leaves St. Anthony on Wednesday for the St. Barbe Ferry and the Quebec-Labrador overnight experience. On Thursday it's back to the ferry and on to Rockey Harbour for Thursday night and the Gros Morne challenge. It's back to Springdale on Friday afternoon.

CREW "B" BOAT......Also at St. Anthony the original bus crew becomes the boat crew and leaves on Thursday for the Conche and Harbour Deep experience. On Friday it's good-bye Harbour Deep and back to Springdale with a lunch stop at LaScie.

THE LODGINGS

Nights 1 and 2 (Saturday and Sunday) will be spent at the Beautiful Riverwood Inn On Indian River in Springdale

Night 3 (Monday) will be spent at the Harbour Deep Lodge on Newfoundland's isolated northeast coast.

Nights 4 and 5 (Tuesday and Wednesday) will be spent at the Valhalla Lodge at L'Anse aux Meadows on the tip of Newfoundland's Great Northern Peninsula.

Night 6 (Thursday) will be spent at the Northern Light Inn in L'Anse au Clair, Labrador.

Night 7 and 8 (Friday and Saturday) will be spent at the Fisherman's Landing Inn, Rocky Harbour in Gros Morne National Park.
