Chase's Treasures

Karin Muller is my favorite celebrity of all time,
and this picture she took of us together is
one of the happiest moments in my life.
My 36-year medallion:
Sobriety is my most-treasured gift,
and I enjoy sharing it with others.
I've been sober since July 11, 1987.
Thank you to Robbie and Pip for this very special medallion.
Whenever I think I am getting bored, I simply remind myself
that only boring people stay bored, and since I don't want to
be boring, it's really amazing how fast the boredom vanishes.
An attitude adjustment can really do wonders at times, too.

And this welcome is given to you, whether this is your

Here's a short story that I wrote that I hope you will enjoy; it's a true story:
THE FLOWER IN MY MOM'S HAIR
~~Written by her son Chase~~
When my mom went to Heaven in January of 1998,
my dad, my brother Warren, and I were all happy
that she took a flower with her--in her hair. Somone
at the funeral home was very observant and added
that special touch for us. A flower in her hair was
mom's trademark.
I recall a story about when a youngster tugged at
his or her mom--saying: "Look, look at the pretty
flower" and pointed at mom. Mom was someone
the little one had probably never seen before.
Mom wore a flower in her hair for many years,
and she was often referred to as "the lady with
the flower in her hair." She loved wearing a
flower wherever she went.
I remember one June when I was visiting her
for her birthday, and I knew what gift I wanted
to find for her birthday. I think if I had given
her a million dollars that she wouldn't have
smiled any brighter. She seemed really
happy when she found lots and lots of little
artificial flowers wrapped in love.
She exclaimed that she had looked and
looked to no avail in finding what God had
blessed me to find for her.
If you want to find them, they are "hidden"
away in areas of "artificial flowers." They
made the perfect gift for my mom, and the
dividends are many happy memories
forever.
I miss seeing "the flower in my mom's hair,"
but the memories are as alive today as the
days they reflect.
This is a thank you (in spirit) to my mom for
adding joy to both old and young by wearing
a flower in her hair.

A very loving God has richly blessed me through you earthbound Angels. Unconditional love that I received from both my mom and my dad is a gift that I continuously receive from my "Family Of Friends." My precious mom (through her example) taught me how to reach out to those who are sorrowing and suffering. It was always such a joy to watch my mom express her love for others--all the way through life and into her journey to Heaven. Now, I get to share that love with you and others.
My mom lovingly touched so many lives while she was here with us, but it seems that she continues to lovingly touch lives all the way from Heaven, now. Mom, I still love you!!

Really impress others by utilizing the most dynamic word in any person's vocabulary--that person's name.
I have heard that our eyes are the windows to the soul; therefore, each and every tear must be a soul-cleansing gift.
"MAGIC HAPPENS" and "LOVE IS EXTREMELY CONTAGIOUS."
I also believe that THE GREATEST GIFT TO GIVE TO OTHERS IS UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.
