My PIGtures!

This page is dedicated to all my piggies. I took these pics with a digital camera, and I think they came out great!!! I'd love to hear what you think about them!! Feel free to e-mail me with any comments. Thanks!! My piggies say "Wheeeeeeeek Wheeeeeeek!" Which means: Enjoy the pigtures of us!! We're hams for the camera!!

These are 4 of my cavies, all lined up in a row. From left to right are: Co-Co, Penni, Canoso, and Shakespeare. They're all enjoying a little carrot munching. They like each other's company and communicate with each other with little "Wheeeks!"

These are two of my piggies that live together, my Red Teddy Penni and my Dilute Agouti American Canoso. At our local County fair on September 18th, 1999, Canoso received Best of Breed for Americans, and also received Reserve Cavy in Show! I'm so very proud of her, and my cavy interest is finally starting to pay off. Cavies are sociable, and they like being with each other, and these two guys are living proof!

This is my black and white broken Silkie Patches. He kind of looks like a Dutch, with his markings. Patches is an awesome cavy, with a good personality. He can be shy at times, but otherwise he can "Wheeeep!" with the best of them. :)

This is my other Silkie Boar, Shakespeare. He is a Red and White Broken. He recently received Best of Breed at out local fair on September 18th, 1999. (Pic of him and his winnings coming up soon). I am realy proud of him. The only thing he lacks is density in his fur, and fur length. Sometimes it takes a great deal of time for the hair to get to great lengths. You have to be patient with the Silkie breed, but I think soon he will be an awesome show pig!!!

.....

These are picures of my Teddy cavy Penni. She received Best of Breed at an Arizona state show. I was really surprised, since I bought her at a VERY small show for only $5.00, and she didn't even have a Pedigree. She's one of the best pigs I have in my caviary.

This is my sister's cavy Rugrat...I bet you're wondering, "What the heck is that thing?" Sometimes I wonder the same thing! My sister thought she was getting an Abysinnian, but actually she was getting a Golden Agouti Peruvian/Abysinnian cross. Rugrat looks more like a Peruvian now. Sometimes you can't even tell the head from the rear!! But you have to admit that she's cute.....

This is Smokey, my brother's guinea pig. He's a Broken American. Smokey is a sweetheart, and he sits so perfectly when my brother shows him in showmanship. My brother received Reserve Champion Cavy Showmanship with him!!!
