My Girl Scout Page
 I am a member of Troop #1831. It is a Daisy/Brownie/Junior combined troop, and this year we have 2 Daisies, 6 Brownies, and 11 Juniors. I have been a junior for 5 years. After this year I may bridge up to be a cadet. My mom is the co-leader.
This year we went to the Flagstaff observatory. We got to see Jupiter and Saturn. We also went and painted pottery for Christmas gifts for our family. For Easter we went to the local retirement home and did crafts with them. We made Easter bonnets and did an Easter egg hunt and then we sang for them.
So far I have earned 7 badges.....Creative Solutions...Looking Your Best...Science Discovery...Outdoor Fun...Walking For Fitness...Business Wise...and My Self Esteem. I have also earned 1 sign.....Sign Of The World.
Right now I am working on 2 badges. Girls are Great is one of them that I have almost completed. Our troop is part of the Montezuma Neighborhood. Once a year all the troops in our neighborhood go away to a Girl Scout camp for the weekend. We play games, sing songs, meet new girls, take hikes and learn about different things. We always have a lot of fun. Our encampment this year was in February. We had a great time.Our theme last year was the 70's. We all did skits. We took a hike. We all each strung beads and used them to make a bead curtain to decorate the lodge with. Then we tye dyed T-shirts. That was a lot of fun!!
