Welcome to the Gallery of Elaine Robertson, Ayrshire born Artist.

Please browse through Elaine's body of work: Elaine is a self-taught artist. She spent a number of years overseas and in the eastern mediteranean area, which has influenced the richness of the colours she uses in her paintings.











She produces work in almost every form from pen and ink, pencil, oils, computer and acrylics. She also creates ranges of greeting cards using drawings and photographs and paintings. Versatility is the key to her work. Elaine has exhibited regularly at the McLaurin Art Gallery in Scotland, also winning a number of competitions, nationally and locally in Ayrshire, Elaine's work has also been seen on Scottish Television.














Elaine has also been commissioned for a number of Theatre sets in South London, with very favourable reviews in the press. In addition as a committed Christian she regularly contributes to a local Christian publication.











As you can see, her themes can be quite varied and can be very vivid in their use of colour. However, she also enjoys the muted tones of watercolours and oils.
