Jello Shooters

You'll need to find some small plastic cups (usually the kind they use in grocery stores for sampling foods).
• Pick your favorite flavor of jello. My personal favorite is black cherry
• Boil the water like on the package instructions.
• Add the jello and stir till disolved.

  (Now comes the hardest part, yeah right).

• When the package says to add cold water...add only 1/2 of the amount of water that they ask for. The other half of the liquid will be your favorite liqueur. My preference with black cherry jello is Red Hot Schnapps

  Be sure to put your liqueur in the freezer (no it won't freeze...it's ALCOHOL) at least 4 hours before you start this or it won't be cold enough to set the jello.

• Pour the jello/alcohol mix into the little cups (filling them about 1/2 full.)
• Place in refrigerator to set.

Now THIS is the hardest part.

Another Nebraska prerequisite for graduating was jello shooters 101. The goal of the class was to remove the jello from the cup with your tongue and not leave any jello in the cup after the first try...Sounds easy...yeah, right.

Try it. NO, you can't use a spoon or your fingers..only your tongue.

HINT: Stick your tongue in between the jello and the cup...while your tongue is still in there, rotate the cup to loosen the jello. When you have it loosened, use your tongue as a spoon and scoop it out & swallow.

If at first you don't succeed...keep trying..you'll not only learn how to impress your friends by doing it right the first time...but you'll really tie one on (depending on how many tries it takes you). Enjoy!
