The full moon ritual is to honor the Goddess. When the moon is in its full it symbolizes the Goddess in Her Mother form, symbolizing Her full of child and ready to give birth to all the creation of the Earth. If possible, celebrate outside at night and under the moon.

Arrange the alter, light the candles and incense, and cast the Circle. Invoke the four corners and the Goddess and God. Gaze up at the Moon. Visualize it filling you with the energy of the Goddess, then say:

Mother Goddess, Gracious Lady of the Moon,
You who lights up the Night Sky,
I / we honor and celebrate Your Love,
On this eve of the full moon.
To remember Your creation of our existence.
I / we greet your Celestial Jewel,
In the waxing of Its power,
With this Rite in Your honor.
I / we pray in by the Moon!
I / we pray in by the Moon!
I / we pray in by the Moon!

Continue chanting I / we pray by the Moon, visualizing the Goddess as you see Her, knowing Her love for you as one of Her creations, Her children, is eternal. This is an ideal time for works of magic.

Celebrate the Simple Feast. Release the circle.
