Oneness and the Heart of the World

Father Thomas Keating talks about God's dynamic nature and the Divine Oneness of 'All That Is' in this wonderful inspirational video. He is wise, speaks from the heart and is sure to bring a smile. He says this about Oneness...

"We're (human beings) moving into Oneness. In other words a Oneness that we already have but at various levels of our being; and hence we're aware of the Oneness in different ways, and in different intensities, and in different levels and able to respond as our awareness of this presence keeps evolving. The presence keeps expanding and becoming more penetrating, more enveloping, more involved with each of our bodily, mental, physical and spiritual activities or capacities. So we're always experiencing this Oneness, but when does it become that, which is described as there being 'No other'? This is something that maybe we could talk about tomorrow after a good nights sleep.

That's really very advanced and has few (as far as we know about it from reports) people who actually experience it as a permanent state of awareness or consciousness. Who have become not only 'the Other', but are 'the Other' in a way. Now this doesn't in anyway deny the distinction between God and us which is infinite. It does deny the separation..."

Hope you enjoy watching the video and listening to his wisdom as much as I did.

Reiki - a pathwork for expanding intuition
Topic: Reiki

We all (male and female) have equal intuitive abilities. My experience of intuition is that it covers the gambit of all extra-senses which would include sensing/feeling, seeing, hearing, tasting and smelling.

Everyone expresses sensing/feeling at the most basic level. Like walking into a room and feeling welcomed or wanting to turn and run. And we all experience gut reactions to a new person we meet, partnership or proposal. We may be open or other. Part of our survival mechanisms. Each of us has a gift that is our main way of perceiving. Some see, some sense, some hear, some smell and some taste. I've talked with folks who have each as primary and one or more secondary. Usui Reiki Ryoho has many techniques which help develop and hone our intuitive abilities. In Shoden (the beginning teachings) the practice of hands on fills the body with energy and begins the wholing process. The breathing technique Joshin Kokyu reduces stress and clears the mind. While the Gassho Meditation begins our focus inward. It helps quiet the mind ('monkey mind') and still frenetic outer activities.

As intuition develops it can include empathy, being able to sense what is going on with others... emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. This empathic bond often expresses with siblings or parents/children and people/animals. Usui Reiki Ryoho Okuden (innermost teachings) offers techniques and symbols which expand the process of sensing subtle energy, building the compassion body and expanding intuition. The technique Byosen Reikan ho... scanning develops and hones our empathic abilities. The technique Reiji ho develops and hones these abilities further by getting the small mind out of the process. It creates an environment where we begin to trust as we allow Reiki to guide us to the imbalances.

Our intuition develops further and we begin to intuit the astral levels, how/where many psychics read. Astral is where telepathy is honed. It is a 'free for all' zone where anything goes. A zone for coming to understanding about guiding forces, focus, stranding, attention, intention and more. Usui Reiki Ryoho Shinpiden (mystery teachings) furthers the process of accessing other levels through symbol focus and Reiju 'energy blessing'.

As intuition develops even further we begin to access universal knowledge and have conversations with other beings. Some would call this channeling, it falls in the realm of conscious-channeling (having a conversation) rather then trans-channeling (another speaking through with self unconscious). In other words the person is fully awake and aware during conversations. We have access to all knowledge, other dimensions, levels, worlds, parallel worlds, universes and beyond. The universal level is where one hones discernment about energetic resonance, intention, where one chooses to focus and 'who is who in the zoo' so to speak. And makes choices about self, service and continuing pathwork.

My extracted presumption... whatever level access there continues to be refining and  honing of all levels of beingness.

If one is desirous of expanding one's consciousness Usui Reiki Ryoho is one of the easiest pathworks to under take. But all require dedication and doing for results.

Angry Achy Anguish
Topic: Reiki

Been following the news on the Internet, about the earthquakes in China, Cyclone in Myanmar, Floods and Tornados in the US, Fishermen and Hauler strikes over diesel prices in the EU. Soaring gasoline and food prices worldwide, food riots from Haiti to Bangladesh to Egypt, incredible numbers of home foreclosures, massive credit card debt, GMOs, salmonella in fresh tomatoes, bickering politicians, governments not allowing aid, terrorism, banks in a mess, crashing stock markets, war, the list goes on... I could blog about this alone, but I won't.

In my own world I've friends scattered over the US. Two weeks ago a friend's sister called her in total despair because she couldn't pay rent, buy groceries, or gas. Afraid her dog would be un-cared for if something happened to her. She'd been without a job since September, used up all her financial reserves and now she's broke. She wanted to die. Though in worse financial shape herself, my friend sold enough to buy a plane ticket. Cheaper then renting a car and driving. She can't afford to buy a car or rent an apartment. Those things are expensive luxuries. She's not working now. She needs a car to get to work, because there's no public transportation in the area... so is between a rock and hard space. Wonders what she did wrong. Cares so much for her sister she'd sell her soul if necessary, to help her survive.

Another friend works full time with autistic children, just loves them. She lives alone. Rents a very small house, drives a small car and is frugal. But doesn't make enough money to meet her bills, buy groceries, insurance and gasoline. Had to buy heating oil on her credit card this past winter so she'd have heat. Her cards are maxed out now, interest rates have climbed to 30.99%. She's stressed and wonders how she'll ever repay the growing mountain of debt. Hopes for a miracle.

Yet another friend is on a fixed limited income. Her husband died 2 years ago. Now she's living alone in a house that is literally falling down around her. The floor is mushy and gives with each step. She fears she'll fall through it some day. Her windows don't close very tight and leak, so the house is drafty. Her water went out this winter. She didn't have the means to get it back on again. Been without running water for 6 months now. Sometimes she feels desperate. She heats with wood. It's very cold where she lives. More so this year that's why the water went out. It just snowed again the other day. It's June, her wood supply is gone. She's had to cut up downed trees in her yard to keep warm. It's usually in the 80s this time of year. Crazy weather.

I won't tell you my personal story, now. But I will say, the other day I drove trough the Village (VOC), which now feels more like southern California. Along the newly spiffed up multi million dollar road. Wondered why they took a perfectly good 3 lane road with easy access to all businesses on both sides and turned it into 2 lanes with curb median and 3, no 4 roundabouts? Much harder to navigate. Had a gift card a friend gave me for my birthday so I took myself to Oak Creek Brewery for lunch. It was very crowded and buzzing with activity. My lunch cost $22.44 and I ordered one of the cheaper items on their menu. Left the server who was very good a $5.00 tip. Would have liked to leave more. She only makes $3.75 per hour, to think people stiff her sometimes. Geesh! At least SHE is working. The shopping center Tlaquepaque, home to the restaurant was full and crowded. I walked around after lunch looking in the windows at all the pricey, foo foo, frilly things. Slam! Wham! Bam.... Grrrr.

Guess I've had another EPIPHANY or something. Now I'm really angry. Sorting, spitting fire angry. Koyaanisqatsi! World out of balance! What the hell is going on?

There's massive worldwide suffering, massive worldwide disparity and massive effects of global warming. And denial. The world is out of balance. The rich, get richer... waste and excess; and the poor and middle class get poorer... starving, poverty and suffering. The planet is being raped, pillaged and becoming a toxic waste dump. And too few people seem to care. I'm on overwhelm! My shoulders are tight, I don't know what to do.

Wait. Stop! I know Reiki, right. I can do something to help and I will. Yes. I vow, to myself and all sentient beings...

From this point forward I will send 'Reiki to the planet, the people and all life for the highest and best outcome what ever that be' 24/7/365 until there is positive lasting change or I make my transition, which ever comes first.

So be it.

Will you join in and help me from time to time in ways that you know how?

More on Co-creatorship, Mind and Now
Topic: Spiritual ponderings

Soul is fully conscious (aware) and non-conditional (absolute, without imperfection). Co-creation happens through Soul (as Thought) utilizing a polarity of sorts. Thought… not as in the physical brain mental functioning: but rather Thought through Mind (Buddhist: ‘diamantine mind’ or ‘clear-light mind’) and beyond. Mind in this reference is also Higher Mind (an ethereal energy field that brings knowledge and information of a higher source). Soul works through ‘Mind’. There is a doing by Soul during creation that resembles thought (intention or perfect intention) and is never unconscious (without awareness).

We become true co-creators when we are fully conscious. What that means is have the complete awareness of ‘Who We Truly Are’… as Soul, with full knowing of ‘All That Is’… 'Being in this world but not of it' also called 'Enlightenment' (knowledge of Universal Truths and the ability to live them; realization of the ‘I AM’ within, resulting in perfect harmonious function). Enlightenment is not way beyond our reach it is opening to the awareness of 'All That Is' (including inner and outer worlds) and as a result becoming peaceful, harmonious and unconditionally loving.

There truly is no time... all is NOW. So co-creatorship occurs in the Now. ‘Linear time’ is a construct of our collective consciousness, is what we chose to experience during our earthly incarnations... but it is changing to ‘Now’ as we ALL begin to become aware... conscious... enlightened.

In co-creation, there is an understanding of polarity (possessing of negative (yin) and positive (yang) poles), which is utilized. Polarity is not the same as duality. The polarity utilized by Soul is the harmony and interpenetration of Light (vibration, matter, yang) and Darklight (void, dark matter (makes up 90% of the Universe), yin). One cannot exist without the other.

When one is unconsciousness (without awareness), there is a duality (being twofold, usually contradictory; in disagreement) of thought functioning. The brain not knowing or believing itself a Soul and unlimited… believes it is limited and proves that to itself by trying on various societal constructs. It believes itself to be limited by the beliefs of the group it aligns itself with… and so creates limitation for itself. A limitless Soul in a vehicle that believes itself limited… this is duality… a twofold contradiction; in disagreement. As long as there is this disagreement there cannot be Higher-level creation while in a physical body.

So the duality of Soul in an unconscious (walking dead, without awareness) vehicle creates unconsciously. And brings to itself all manor of things, relationships and experiences which trigger emotions, thoughts and wonderings to help itself remember. And as it begins to remember the experiences, relationships and things change to show it that it is a creator. But it still limits itself saying, “I AM this but not that”… this is separation. Until brain comes to the realization of Oneness of ‘All That Is’, which is the integration of Soul (knowing) within body… and brain no longer limits itself in any way… there cannot be true co-creation.

In italic I have defined words from various dictionaries (including Oxford American Dictionary, The Donning International Encyclopedic Psychic Dictionary and http://dictionary.reference.com/) for the sake of clarity.

Co-creatorship
Topic: Spiritual ponderings

Creatorship comes from Soul not from the polarities. It comes from the Oneness of Soul. The knowingness of Oneness... rather then separation. Rather then seeing self as male and other as female or the other way around. It is the knowingness that you are One with all that is. The polarities will still exist; the polarities are part of Creation. So co-creatorship comes from Soul... not from polarity. Comes from the Oneness, the knowingness of Oneness of Soul.

Both are necessary in order to create. So what we are looking at is trinity. God is Soul. The other two arms of the trinity are the polarities darklight and light. You need the 3 in order to create. It's the Soul that actually creates utilizing the polarities.

We are all One, there is One stream of consciousness. I am not different than you. This is crux of the co-creatorship... actually what you are co-creating. It is co-creatorship of Soul and Creation. So because you are a creator you have the ability to manipulate Creation. And Creation by its nature is polarized. It has both light and darklight. So what you do is take the stuff of Creation and breathe life into it so to speak. The stuff of Creation is again polarity... Light being vibration or matter if you will and Darklight being Void space. So if you understand what you are doing, then you have the ability to bring the two together... to substance... to create what it is that you desire. And when you bring this together it becomes ensouled. When you have the knowing, the ability to be a true co-creator... that is what a true co-creator is, having the ability to bring light and darklight together into the form that you desire it to be and containing Soul. So it is your creation... is ensouled... whether it be a stone, a tree, a money system, a house it matters not. When you create at that level your creation has Soul.

So from that standpoint it is not about transcending duality (polarity). The concept of duality...Man as God is not duality at all in my understanding. Man is one type of vehicle for Soul (God) to experience within. Like a car vs. a van or a boat vs. a plane... a vehicle only. Man or physical body is a tent, a sacred temple or a vehicle for Soul to dwell within to experience Creation for a limited time. The combination of the two... is Hu-man or God (Soul) within Man.... without Soul (God), Man would simply be a husk or empty car without a driver. Both are necessary and sacred within this Creation.

The duality to be transcended is more a conceptualization. A misperception such as thinking of self as less then or limited by... so it ultimately self imposed.

On Void, Thought and Creation
Topic: Spiritual ponderings

The Void is emptiness, and stillness and nothingness, quiet and nonexistence. Nothing exists within the Void. Thought encompasses (contains) the Void and the Void interpenetrates Thought. It's impossible to separate the two, they are distinct and yet... One. They are so One that it is almost impossible to perceive, for the human mind... to perceive how One can be two, or two can be One. They interpenetrate one another so completely... that it just is. That they are. And they appear as One.

There is a difference between Void and Thought. And yet Thought can take the appearance of Void, of emptiness and can take the appearance of All That Is, of Creation. Both. And the Void interpenetrates all Creation as well, so it is impossible to separate them. Wherever there is Light (vibration), which is Creation there is also Darklight, which is the Void. So there are the two, just as there are the two within the Void itself. But Light is not Thought, light is vibration. Darklight is not vibration. But the two coexist. Darklight interpenetrates Light, so Darklight interpenetrates vibration. Thought is not vibration; Thought is something else.

The Void is Darklight, emptiness, and nonexistence. The Void exists within Creation. It interpenetrates Creation. The two are separate and yet... there is a Void space where there is no Light (vibration). So Creation and the Void from that standpoint are separate, but the Void interpenetrates Creation. The Void was the beginning, before there was Light (vibration), Creation, Heaven, and Earth. And it takes the combination of the two Darklight or Void (Goddess) and Thought (God) to begin the Creation process. It was the coming together of Darklight and Thought, the decision to do something other that Created Light (vibration). And that is what created the polarities, the dualities, the worlds, that was the beginning...and from there it expanded.

One is not greater then the other, they exist within each other. The ‘masculine is better then', or ‘feminine is better then', is a human concept. There is nothing that is better then anything else. All are Equal, and all are Loved, because all are Creation. That is Creation, not the Parents of Creation. Parents are an accurate concept, but perhaps there is a better word. The Parents of Creation are Void and Thought (Goddess and God) and ‘All Creation' is Loved by the Parents.

There can't be one without the other, there are always both; even in androgyny there are both. And one is never greater then the other. That is the nature of this Creation. Darkness isn't bad, feminine isn't bad, negative isn't bad. It's the other polarity. And masculine isn't good, light isn't good, it just is, it just exists. The good/bad concept is erroneous; it is not one that can be applied in this situation.

Following are excerpts from the stories of Creation told in several religions, I enjoy seeing the similarities...

From Hindu Vedic Hymns, ‘In the beginning, Hiranyagarbha (golden womb/thought) floated around in water in the emptiness and the darkness of the non-existence (void)... then broke into two halves (darkness and light) which formed the Swarga (heaven) and the Prithvi (earth).'

From the Taoist Creation story, ‘In the beginning is Wuji, or Tao - an undifferentiated Unity (thought), beyond vibration (void).' ‘Tao is the nameless Void. Tao is considered by Laozi (great master) to be that which eternally gives without being depleted, and eternally receives without being filled. That which does not exist for its own sake is able to endure. The Tao is the ultimate force behind the Creation. With tao, nothingness gave rise to existence, existence gave rise to yin (darkness) and yang (light), and yin and yang gave rise to everything'

In Christianity the Bible begins Genesis 1:1-4, ‘In the beginning God (thought) created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and Void: and darkness was upon the face of the deep (void). And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be Light; and there was Light And God saw the light, that it was good: and God dived the light (yang) from the darkness (yin).'

Energetic build up causing discomfort...
Topic: Reiki

I had the following Reiki question posed to me recently and thought that the question and answer would be a good blog subject.

The question relates to energetic build up. Many people are experiencing it and may not know what it is or how to cope with it. My answers can be applied in any situation where build up occurs.

Reiki Question: A group of about 9 trained Reiki people meet periodically and when sitting in a circle to apply beaming to each other one person gets so charged with energy, seemingly arising from the solar plexus that it almost becomes unbearable to sit through the process. She wants to get up and run to ease the build-up.  How can she deal with this as she is saying she doesn't think she can continue to meet with the group because the experience is so uncomfortable for her?  Would you know what is causing this?

My Answer: I think I may be able to shed some light. When a group of people beam Reiki/energy the energy is amplified by each practitioner in the circle. Just the same as it is when one receives hands-on from a group... the energy is said to be squared by each additional practitioner giving hands on. So what is being generated and experienced is a very large volume of energy indeed.

When energy moves up the spine and around the body through the energy channels, if there is a block in any area the energy begins to build up. As it builds, heat can be the first thing experienced and then pressure, then pain. When there is a block in the solar plexus energy center (chakra) it can be experienced in either the front or back of the body. In the front it usually feels like an extreme stomach ache (almost like being stabbed by a knife). At the back it feels like a sever back ache. A block in the heart energy center (chakra) may be experienced as pressure at the physical heart or as pain between the shoulder blades. Energy blocks can also be experienced as sciatic pain; gas, bloating and intestinal discomfort; a sore throat, tickle and/or desire to cough; as a splitting headache or pain in arms, hands, legs or feet.

This can happen whenever there is a great flow of energy and is not related to Reiki, perse. I've actually experienced something similar just walking on the land with friends, in restaurants and going to different towns for the day. In these instances it is most likely the result of the combined energy of the individuals, the location, the day and even the subject matter being discussed. Best to monitor, change discussions, locations, etc. and see if it dissipates. If it does not try one of the suggestions below or get in your car and leave; because sometimes just changing company/locations can begin to dissipate the energy.

So what can be done...
  • For immediate relief... I have found that a chiropractic adjustment of the spine helps me temporarily. Sometimes if the vertebra are subluxated it creates a block or pinch in energy flow resulting in pain. A quick method of adjustment is to have the person cross their arms high on their chest, a big strong someone stands behind grabs around the arms, lifts them off the floor and very gently shakes once. You should hear a pop. Never do this with force, nor to a person with back problems.
  • Energetic build up symptoms can also happen if the person isn't grounded. A quick way to ground is to grab the feet of the ungrounded person and feel them come back into their body. Try it with the group holding the person's feet and see if it works faster.
  • When there is too much energy... scooping it off of the area and throwing it onto the floor helps relieve excess build up. Do this until it feels different, cooler or less vibrant.
  • I would also suggest the person try to uncover the cause of the block and work on it with Reiki. Some things that can cause blocks... a past life experience of breaking the back or being stabbed in the stomach, causing death would be a remembered soul trauma. This may carry over as a block in one's energy field in this lifetime. A physical injury to the area; emotional trauma such as not feeling loved; or mental trauma such as not feeling supported financially or otherwise can also cause energy blocks.

To work on an unknown cause of a block with Reiki/energy... write on a piece of paper the person's name, age, location and condition (i.e. pressure/pain in solar plexus). Ask Reiki to work on the cause of the pain/pressure and hold the paper in hand until energy balances. To work on self put hands on area (solar plexus) and ask Reiki specifically to uncover, remove and heal the block in your body (cause, core, effect, record, memory and connection). Work until energy balances (5 minutes, 1 hour or more). Do this daily until condition resolves. Know that while you work on it with Reiki it may be possible for the energy to build again and cause discomfort until the core issue is released.

Vatican's list of the new 7 deadly sins... with commentary
Topic: Other ponderings

Have you read the latest from Bishop Gianfranco Girotti, head of the Vatican body that oversees confessions and plenary indulgences. See the full article at: http://www.weeklystandard.com/Utilities/printer_preview.asp?idArticle=14949&R=13A16D2A5

Here is the Vatican's list of the new 7 deadly sins...

  1.  Drug abuse
  2.  Morally debatable experimentation
  3.  Environmental pollution
  4.  Causing poverty
  5.  Social inequality and injustice
  6.  Genetic manipulation
  7.  Accumulating excessive wealth
A thoughtful list... all things which cut one off from Spirit/God... which numb body and mind and prevent soul from fully permeating body.  FYI, the original 7 deadly sins are... Envy, Gluttony (eating too much or a great desire for something), Lust (a great sexual desire or any intense desire for something), Anger, Sloth (laziness), and Greed.
I pondered this list a bit.  Following are my thoughts on the subject... what do you think?
  1. Drug abuse - Drugs, whether illegal or pharmaceutical pollute the body and numb the mind making both so toxic that a relationship to God/Spirit is impossible. When the body/mind is numb one cannot feel/sense what is going on around them, they are cut off from being a true Hu-man (God/Spirit permeated body). They loose their connection so cannot experience the fullness of Life nor feel the Love which permeates 'All That Is'. They are walking 'dead'. Drug abuse is akin to Lust a great desire for something (i.e. a desire to be pain free, or to escape life, or to let go of inhibitions, or seeking freedom from, etc.)... which is beyond reason.
  2. Morally debatable experimentation - Morally debatable experimentation keeps one in a boiling pot of intensity and creates isolation. It cuts one off from their humanity and the feelings of love and compassion for self and others. This focus does not allow peace and quietude... the time where one can hear the small quiet voice and sense the connection and communion with nature and God/Spirit/Self. Where one places thoughts or focuses attention manifests results in life. If morally debatable experimentation is rampant in a society it is a cry or call for love, kindness and help and perhaps a need for that society to re-evaluate its' current focus.
  3. Environmental pollution - When one pollutes the environment they also pollute body/self. Environmental pollution is akin to Sloth. From the most mundane and obvious perspective... polluting the Earth is like living in one's toilet with all of one's excrement. Earth is where we live, breathe, eat, play and work... 24/7/365... the question would be 'What do you want?' As well, pollution like drugs pollute the body and numb the mind making both so toxic that a relationship to God/Self is nearly impossible.
  4. Causing poverty - What one does to others, one ultimately does to self. Causing poverty is akin to Greed. Because of an excessive desire for wealth, one amasses and hordes. Hording stops flow... if there is a limited amount of anything and one hordes, it creates disparity. Hording behavior will ultimately collapse a society. It creates grasping desire and slavery consciousness. One becomes a slave to that which has been horded on both sides... trying to keep (or horde more) or trying to get (get out of poverty). If all of one's time and focus are spent on grasping one loses connection to God/Self, compassion and their humanity.
  5. Social inequality and injustice - We may wear individual customized skins, but ultimately we are all One. We are all equal and all Loved by God/Spirit. Inequality and injustice to one or one segment, hurts all and disrupts balance and nature order. It perpetuates separation, hate and war. This concept of social inequality and injustice extends to and through the individual, government, church, workplace, humanity and all life. It is based on seeing someone or something as 'better then' or 'less then'. Until we can individually and collectively transcend seeing difference as a bad thing and embrace each other for our uniqueness with love and celebration, we will continue to perpetuate this particular behavior and live in 'fear'. F.E.A.R. is simply False Evidence Appearing Real. Elimination of inequality and injustice begins with self. The relationship with self to self, to family, to friends, to colleagues, to society and to all humanity. When one has love, kindness and respect for self they can easily turn that love, kindness and respect outward to 'all that is'.
  6. Genetic manipulation - Manipulation of Genetic material and cloning without understanding the ultimate long-term effect of that manipulation relates to the saying 'they know not what they do'. If one has an enlightened perspective and the knowledge of 'all that is' they know full well what the long-term outcome will be of one small change to DNA. Therefore they can make that change with confidence and for the highest good of all concerned. Without the same perspective Genetic manipulation is ignorantly 'playing God'.
  7. Accumulating excessive wealth - As in Causing poverty Accumulating excessive wealth is akin to Greed. Because of an excessive desire for wealth, one amasses and hordes. Hording stops flow... if there is a limited amount of anything and one hordes this creates disparity. Hording behavior will ultimately collapse a society. It creates grasping desire and slavery consciousness. One becomes a slave to that which has been horded on both sides... trying to keep (haves) or trying to get (have-nots). If all of one's time and focus are spent on grasping one loses connection to God/Self, compassion and their humanity.
