Sad a dark blue color. And finally Somber and silverish color. Mood Dragons rank and rarity are determined by eye color not skin. The eye color comes in 12 color divided into 4 ranks. Yellow, Bright Green, and Blue being first rank, Purple, Orange, and Green being second rank, Seagreen, Light Blue and Sky Blue being third rank, and Violet, Pink and Red being fourth rank. Eye colored is gotten from the Mother. The larger dragons are used as transportation and are imprinted shortly after birth by a human chosen by the Stable Master. Both Mini and Large Mood Dragons know their names at birth. They are normally short names always ending in 'ra for males and 'dar for females. There are never any "i"s in their names all "i"'s are substitued with "y"s for some unknown reason. Since large Mood Dragons can talk they tell their riders there names once they've been imprinted. They should be paired with quiter people who are not likely to anger the dragon. Mutations are believed to be sterile.
Mini Mood Dragons have the same tendencies as their larger counterparts though they are drastically smaller ranging from six to ten inches tall. It is not known wether or not they come in the mutation types.
Imprinting
Imprinting is how humans form a bond with Mood Dragons. Large Mood Dragons are imprinted shortly after birth by teenagers chosen by a Stable Master. The Stable Master chooses teenagers he or she thinks will make could riders and can take on the responsiblity. He or she matches the riders-to-be with a certain "Mood" of dragon that matches up with their personality. After the Dragons weanlings have been imprinted they will go live with their rider who will take care of them for the rest of the pairs life. Only one Large Mood Dragon my be imprinted per person. Mini Mood Dragon's can be paired with humans any time during their life span. They are normally acquired by breeders or owners whose dragons have mated and produced offspring. You can have as many Minis has you can take care of.
Why Dragons are Imprinted
Large Mood Dragons need to have riders to stay alive. Their riders supply them with a liquid called Ambrosia that they need to be bathed in once a day. Ambrosia keeps their energy up and without it their mood induced color changing would drain them of all life. The Ambrosia must be totaly cover them and be gently rubbed into their skin for it to take effect and unfortunetly they cannot reach every part of their body. In the wild they would be imprinted on another Mood Dragon and they would cover each other in Ambrosia but in the wild it is to hard to come by so instead they began bonding with humans who had a constant supply og the liquid. In return humans receive the unquestionable love of a dragon, transportation and protection. Mini Mood Dragon much more flexible them the larger ones dont' really need humans but people like them as pets.

Feel free to take one of these for your own Stall.
Where Dragons Live
Large Mood Dragons live in "stalls". Stalls can range in size and style. A stall can be any enclosed area nearby where the rider lives. It should include a soft bed for the dragon to sleep on, a place to store the dragons saddle and an Ambrosia fountain or pond at the least. Many larger stalls also include small gardens and are conjoined with the riders living area. Mini Mood Dragons live in their owners room and sleep either on a perch or on their owners bed.
Nutrition
Mood Dragons are omnivours. They enjoy meat but their main diet is of fruits and vegetables. They especially enjoy grapes and watermelon. For added nutriance they should eat a few eggs onve a week. For a shiny hide dragons should be bathed regulary in Ambrosia.
Mating
Mood Dragons can mate with an dragon of the opposite sex. Mating occurs in the air after the female has been courted by many different males and has chosen who she likes best. Her offpsring will have the same eye color as her own regardless of her mates eye color. Dragons mate for life and dragons of same eye color cannot mate. This prevents inbreeding from occuring. After 3 months she will give live birth to 3 to 10 pups. First rank females give birth up to 10, Second rank up to 7, Third rank up to 5 and Fourth rank up to 3.
Stages of growth
There are 3 stages of growth. The first stage are newborns, called weanlings. Their hide is almost furry like the skin of a peach. During this stage the dragons are very active. The second stage they are called Dragonets. During this stage they have lost most of their fuz and sleep alot. The final stage is adult. They have lost all traces of fuz and will have reached their full length. A month or so after becoming adults they will become intrested in finding a mate.
