Beautiful Sunsets.

Sunsets like these are a familiar site on the Island. Wander along the beach at sunset listening to the waves lapping the shores and the sound of sea birds, makes for a very romantic setting before sampling some of the fine Restaurants the Island has to offer. There are numerous Restaurants and Coffee shops on Phillip Island and Cowes in particular has a large range to offer. A nice Restaurant with a great view is Taylors Waterfront situated about 3 minutes from Sunderland Bay heading towards San Remo on the right hand side. For a great coffee try the Albertross Coffee Shop in the Courtyard off Thompson Avenue, or for great local Fish and Chips try Q's Take Away. The local Winery can make for a great afternoons adventure also, with many great wines to sample.

Seal Rocks.

Why not visiit Seal Rocks while you stay? Little fellows like this abound in the area. Seals can be seen by taking a trip on the ferry to Seal Rocks to see them in their natural habitat. You can also view the seals from the marine complex at the Nobbies and makes a wonderful outing for the whole family.

Seal Rocks.

The surf beaches in the area are very popular with the board riders as they can almost always be gauranteed of getting a wave, with the varying weather conditions you will find waves on different sides of the Island with Woolamai beach being a popular choice with the Surfies. Cat bay on the West side of the Island can produce some good waves at time and usually when Woolamai and Smiths Beach are not producing the waves. We hope you all enjoy your stay at Sunderland Bay Holiday Units and enjoy what the Island has to offer. Sign My Guestbook Get your own FREE Guestbook from htmlGEAR View My Guestbook
