In August 1997 Sarge performed at the National Convention of the Vietnam Veterans of America in Kansas City, Missouri where he was also the opening act at the Grand Emporium Blues Club, one of the leading blues clubs, twice voted best blues club in the United States.
Sarge is a Vietnam veteran blues man and a powerful performance poet, who is a meaningful addition to any event.
