THESE FILES WILL BE UPDATED ON A MONTHLY BASIS; THE NAMES HAVE BEEN CHANGED TO PROTECT THE GUILTY! :)

FROM THE "I can't believe I heard it on Amateur Radio" files:

Every once in a while, we hear something so precious, we have to share it with others:

"I'm having trouble with your deviation!"

"Yea, I heard that on Packet." (Extraordinary hearing?)

"Sounds like you're over-powering the repeater."

"Is there e-mail on repeaters?"

"There were a lot of good deals on just plain junk at the hamfest."

"I bought a neat microphone at the hamfest. Now I need a radio to connect it to."

"My wife just doesn't understand the hobby. She must be on a different band!"

"What's the code for that repeater?"

"That simplex USA frequency sure gets busy!"

"I had my radio off, but I was only listening!"

"I put my antenna in the attic so I wouldn't get hit by lightning."

"Packet is just really fast CW!"

"I can't hear you very good. Must be the voltage."

"All I have is an HT. I guess I should get a better job!"

"I didn't hear anybody all day. Then I discovered my antenna had been stolen!"

"Without that squelch control everybody would be real noisy."

"I'm running an omni-directional beam!"

"What's the front-to-back of that vertical?"

"I'd use simplex but I can't figure out how to turn off the shift."

"You get into that repeater better because you're using a different power configuration." (Huh?)

"Those old tube radios had better harmonics!"

"I use packet so everybody can't eavesdrop on my QSO's"
