This site will include Marr's Austins, Decous/Decows, Lemons, Brittains, and many more on my dad's fathers side as well as Hiler's, Stearns, Graves, etc., on my dad's mothers side.
As I am a Marr, I hope to find others out there who have the determination to finding the man who first came to America, Lawrence Marr, Sr. I recently came across a Morrow Family in Hamilton, Ontario Canada, may have copies of old letters from Lawrence Marr, Father of the Lawrence Marr, born in 1700, that request Lawrence to come home to Ireland and receive his share of the estate, but our Lawrence never returned. Hope some day these letters get revealed.
I am also trying to find the brothers of Hervey Marr who was my great grandfather. Their names and birth dates were: Hamilton Marr, 6-7-1867, Winfield S. Marr, 3-12-1861, D. Walter Marr, 6-2-1864. Will O. Marr, 6-14-1872.

My mother's side of the family includes the names Carlson and Wiig. Her grandfather was Asbjorn Wiig, I don't know anything on the Maria Nilson he married. Should anyone have information, I would sure appreciate an email. You can find his family history at the address below:
