Alhambra High School is a big high school. We have about 2700 students and all of our students know how to use a computer. Just by our statistics from last year, when we didn't have our WebSite address available to the general public, we had over 290 visitors every two weeks. That's a potential for over 150 people that could have misused this system. We have to deal with hackers, phreakers, pranksters, and lamerz. If someone was to send us a message that our school had a bomb on campus, we couldn't tell if it was true or not. However, with cooperation from NightKingdoms, we can implement various security features and computer forensics capabilities that can allow us to tell when something is true or not.

All communications available on this and all components of WebSites associated with it (except when dealing with e-mail), are completely secure. All AHS Lions 2.1 WebSites use the NightKingdoms Information Security features. Alhambra High School is even part of the NightKingdoms WebSite Alliance. However, AHS Lions 2.1 is not completely secure, as nothing can be completely secure. But one thing that we have created for AHS Students is the ability to "cloak" the information you usually need to provide when filling-out forms on an AHS Lions 2.1 WebSite.

Cloaking Numbers are available that ask for your information once. This information is sent directly to NightKingdoms and then they send you a Cloaking Number. With this Cloaking Number, all information is filtered through NightKingdoms and even if intercepted by somebody it will not affect you. The only information that the person would get is what you filled in and some stupid number -- worthless to them!

If you have any questions, comments or otherwise about this, contact the AHS WebStaff or NightKingdoms. If you would like to sign-up for your very own Cloaking Number, click here.
