Summary: When Messalla was trapped and killed in the sewers beneath the Capitol, Peeta was the only one who kept his cool enough to get everyone else moving and save their lives. Why was he able to do that? Where did he learn to face such an awful situation so coldly? To me, the answer's obvious. Here's what I think Peeta was thinking in that terrible moment. Not graphic, just very sad.
