I was in Ohio last month, back in Monroe, Ohio. Wayno is playing with John Veglia in "4 of a Kind". Gordon and Becky are playing country music with the "Long Neck Band". Mike and I are taking a break from the Irish Music Scene.

We found a great guitarist for X-Calibur - Ed Just. Ed will debut at the summer concerts coming up next month. A big thanks to Gordon the 'G' man for standing in to get us through the gigs over the winter, even though he was playing with 3 other bands! (drums and guitar)

Also, the Hittmen are going to get Becky to start playing the flute at the gigs. She accidently let it slip out that she plays flute. Can you say "Jethro Tull...?"

March is very busy, of course, with a lot of Irish gigs. We picked up another outdoor concert, in Middletown, in August. That's a great place to bring children, if you have any. To borrow children for this event, call any relative.

Rich our drummer had a hernia operation, but he's fine now. We (the Hittmen) have some new gigs at the Sky Top in Kingston, as well as the Kingston Holiday Inn, and Mahoneys in Poughkeepsie.

Gordon and Becky are also playing with the Long Neck Band so you can see them playing country music there.

I'm playing with Gus Hayes, Ian Gallagher and Paddy Noonan, so check the schedule and stop by to say 'hi'.

The Xcalibur Band with Mike Morris is doing an outdoor concert in Randolf, NJ this summer. Mike and I are doing the Irish scene through March. Check the calendar....see you soon!
