For some, music is simply a pastime; however, for this group of talented individuals, it is a way of life. Formed in 1999, Glyptic started as a four-piece, writing, practicing and playing every opportunity they had. With a strong passion for music that could not be ignored, they knew from day one that this band was something they must pursue. After playing together for over six years and performing at various venues with national acts such as Dry Kill Logic, Hell Within, and With Passion, Glyptic has added long time friend and guitarist Jason Victorine to their permanent lineup. With every member truly dedicated to making unique and intense music, this group of best friends is ready to unleash themselves onto the metal scene and share their music with the world. With influences ranging from Pantera to Dream Theater, Glyptic creates memorable and passionate music that breaks new ground while appealing to conventional fans. Their melodic passages, fierce pounding rhythms, and gut-wrenching screams will definitely have you wanting more. |
