Hi everyone! In case you've wondered what has consumed me the past few months, here it is! The house is in Argenta, an old area of North Little Rock, AR. It was built in 1926 and is just under 1600 sq feet. It was in OK shape when I bought it in August, but we decided to gut it and start from scratch, installing new wiring, plumbing, HVAC, and an addition on the back of a 2nd bathroom and laundry room. The great part is that it still had all of it's original woodwork (doors, trim, windows, baseboards), so we've been able to preserve all of that. Check back every couple of weeks and I'll keep you updated on the progress!

Here is the living room after demolition. I was amazed at the condition of the wood underneath everything - they really built them to last back then! You can see the beginning of the dining room windows on the left of the picture. We've already torn out the wall that used to seperate the rooms and I love all of the natural light that floods these two rooms now!
