CycotiX was founded in November 2002 by J.P.. Getting back to his roots in MotoCross and Off Roading.Being introduced by a friend to the wonderfull world of Desert riding. The greatest thing to happen to J.P. in a long time, before too long it was buying an old 250 Honda just to cruise the beautiful desert planes. All the time Video taping all the activities around him and enjoying that more than anything. The bikes became back seat to the Video Camera. I guess you could say the rest is history. Releasing the first of an off road series DEZERT RATZ Volume 1 Taking place mostly at Coyote Rock with the crew and family of Camp Crusty. Though the series has been on hold J.P. went on to take his camera to other aspects like many individual tapings and features on Riders and drivers of Off Road Mania, High School football games,baseball games,weddings,parties,ect. J.P. was looking for something more.! Passion and Heart is what drives J.P. and his video art.... In June 2005 J.P. found the complete passion he was looking for. Catching a ride with a couple friends J.P. headed to the QUARTER MIDGET GRANDS in Portland Oregon. There it was the perfect place for both J.P. and his family and his talents. Back to the deep roots that J.P. knew so much about, being a Quarter Midget Racer from 1969 till 1980 with his family. With many hours of footage from the 2005 Grands and many individual short films to make J.P. was getting footage sorted and prepped.. An unfortunate and complete accident ocurred. J.P. had his right thumb ripped off by a machine. This is where A '9' Digit Production was born and will ride with CycotiX with even more compassion and Heart than ever before....
