08-20-2006: IMPORTANT MESSAGE: Recently, there has been a severe onslaught of spam mail being delivered to people from an email address marked (username)@cmintdreamweaver.com. Do NOT open it; delete it ASAP. A spam bot has siezed the domain webmail and has been spewing out spam to any address it can harvest. I am currently fighting this problem and I will update you as progress is made. In the mean time, I will always reply to any correspondance with my REAL email, cougarmint at yahoo dot com and not with (username)@cmintdreamweaver.com.

Should you recieve an email from a cmintdreamweaver.com domain, please send me an email with the following: Your name, subject: "I Was a Victim of a Spam Attack!", and a forwarded copy of the message. I will do what I can to help you. Again, I apologize for this inconvienence and I am working to stop this mess. Thank you, Cougarmint.

02-03-2006: I apologize for being away so long, but the wait is finally over. I am back online, and in Crescent City, Ca. The spot for my husband to transfer to in Oregon was taken, so we ended up here.

In other news, I am back and am once again waiting for Dream Catcher orders. I thank you all for your patience and understanding. ^_^

11-28-2005: I added a couple of links to the bottom of the main page, in the acknowledgements section.

Due to an impending PCS move, I am unable to take anymore orders or put on any more auctions at this time. I was really hoping to get the holiday season orders, but the Army decided it was better to tell my husband to move to Oregon. I don't blame the Army for it, though. It's just a fact of life that we all deal with. I'll just catch the christmas rush next year. O_o

10-11-2005: I am pleased to announce that I am feeling better now, so I can resume my Dream Catcher creating. Thank you all for your patience. ^_^

10-04-2005: Due to a personal medical emergency, I will NOT be taking orders or putting up auctions until further notice. If you have made an order before this time, I will finish and ship that. Please be patient with me at this time, as it is safe to say that I am in a lot of pain right now.... I apologize for the inconvienence.

09-13-2005: I moved the "About Cougarmint's DreamWeaver Designs" and "the Legend of the Dream Catcher" Sections to their own page. This allows me to embelish on the "About" section without clogging the main page, as well as being able to add a little snippit about the types of customizations I do. The Contact page is still on the main page, and with it is the link to the Background Information page (yeah, I know, it's an unoriginal name, but it's also early in the morning.)

I also updated the Purchase Instructions a bit. I was doing some figuring and I found out that it takes a good $15 in materials to make a Dream Catcher, not counting the Iron-On transfer paper and ink it takes to make the logos and banners. O_o Therefore, I updated the section about "starting over" on the Dream Catcher to reflect that the start-over fee is $15.

09-12-2005: I added a little tidbit to the shipping policy that was recommended by a few friends of mine: I will upgrade from Delivery to Signature confirmations on purchases of $100 or more. It would protect both seller and buyer in the case of a mix up at the post office.

By the way, you won't find only Dream Catchers in the Auction Arena; from time to time, you'll see other stuff there too: like my used, but good set of 1988 Plymouth Reliant Chiltons/Haynes Manuals.... O_o

Supplamental: I added a full Contact Page on the Main Page. It's under the "About Cougarmint's DreamWeaver Designs" Heading, where I used to have only an email address.

09-08-2005: I adore Yahoo. I love their messenger, I love their Mail, and most importantly, I love their Auction Site. I have had NO problems since listing my auctions last night. They even allow me to state that I can donate to the Red Cross, which Ebay had griped about, and most of all, they are free. No stupid fees, no demands for a cut of your final sales. And, though I can not advertize my site directly in the Auction itself, their Auction Booth Feature allows me to post a link to this site. You can check out my booth Here.

I hold no grudges against Ebay or Paypal. I am just a little disappointed with the knit-picky and killer-competative users over there. In fact, I like Pay Pal. However, I just felt that my buisness could be run better at a site where its policies are more flexable. Yahoo provides that and more.

In short, I've taken up auctioning again. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Supplamental: I have an official name for my "Auction Booth" now: the Auction Arena! If you're up for the challenge of bidding, go for it!

09-06-2005: I have given up on Ebay. I won't go into details, because I would rather not have any trouble with them, but it's safe to say that they disappoint me. From now on, all my Dream Catchers are Available through my site and my site alone.

09-04-2005: I finally got the Purchasing and Shipping Policy Page uploaded, which is a major project. I am also in the process of adding "buy me now!" buttons to the site, but the links also work for now.

I am not happy with Ebay at the moment. They have cancelled my Hurricane Katrina listing not once, not twice, but three times over petty "voilations," one which includes "Keyword Spamming." With that one, they might as well cancel EVERY listing, as people "spam" Keywords on a constant basis there. I am seriously tired of their unprofessional buisness and I am considering taking my auctions elsewhere.

Supplamental: I finally added the Customized Version of my POW/MIA Dream Catcher this afternoon. You can check it out Here.

09-01-2005: A new Dream Catcher Concept has been released! In dedication to the victims of Hurricane Katrina, I have designed this beautiful, but ominous Concept Sketch. I will be creating it sometime this afternoon.

08-30-2005: I just relisted the POW/MIA Dream Catcher. Buisness is slow right now, as it always is when one first starts out.

08-29-2005: I made an actual title image for the site. I felt the original "Times New Roman" font for a title was just a bit too bland, so I made a title with my favorite font, using Print Shop to create the initial text banner and Photoshop to convert it to a .gif and give it a little texture. It gives the website an extra kick.

08-26-2005: I updated the "visted link" colors on most of the site to be "orange" instead of "red" now. It makes the link easier to see and preserves the red for the important notes. I also moved the "Enter Site" link to the top of this page for those who want to skip the news stuff.

I also have had a POW/MIA Dream Catcher on Ebay for a while now, but so far, there have been no bids. I hope someone bids soon; I hate to think that I have wasted the $1.25 it took to put the listing up.

08-23-2005: I love my husband. He allowed me to set up this site as an ad-free site! No more of those stupid ads clogging bandwidth! No more pop-ups! YES! I even have a domain name now at www.cmintdreamweaver.com. ^_^ Squee.

As you probably guessed, yes, this is my news page now. a lot of sites have them to promote the site's well being, so I'd thought I'd do it too.

08-22-2005: After talking with my husband, I was finally able to put packing on hold and revamp my Dream Catcher website- a little, anyway. It's way better than just text on a page pointing to pics now, so I hope to get a few more sales.

Some of you are wondering why the picture pages of completed projects and some concept sketches keep the basic, gray, plain background. The answer is simple, really: to focus on the pictures of the dream catcher itself. A noisy background will distract from the detail of the Dream Catcher, as will flashy text. For the main navigation, however, I knew, as much as you do, that it needed a change- badly. I hope this will do.

This is not the end to the site renovation. When I move in October, I will be adding more Dream Catcher Concepts and Projects; I will also be expanding my DreamWeaver Designs line to include pouches, pillows, and other crafts when I settle into my new home. In the meanwhile, I appreciate your patience and understanding. ^_^
