Dragon Myth & Fantasy The dragon is one among different fantasy creatures, typically portrayed as a large and powerful serpent or a reptile with magical qualities. The modern depiction of the dragon is as(not needed) a huge fire-breathing and scaly dinosaur-like creature, with a long muscular tail. Legends suggest that myths of dragons are based upon ordinary creatures. However modern dragon stories are all myth adventures. Many of these stories represent dragons as an extremely intelligent creature who can talk and are associated with powerful magic. Dragons are found in the myths of several cultures, and appear in many different configurations. There are a wide range of fantasy books based on dragons. Children have always been fascinated with fantasy. Rather stories of talking animals have always been popular for readers of all ages. Children enter the world of make believe through these fantasy tales. These fantasy books create dragons as a world of make believe. If you are looking for some outstanding fantasy books, a perfect choice would be Julie Wells, Beyond This Point There Be Dragons

It is not fiction...

I'm sure you've heard of this place. It has figured prominently in numerous cinematic features by Toho studios. But in those films it is always portrayed as a desolate island, overrun by monsters. I must admit, when my pal Shu told me that Monster Island was more than just a fictional land populated by men in ill-fitting rubber costumes, I was in disbelief. He sent me some literature on the accommodations there and I was convinced.

Safety Although Monster Island is a real place, the proprietors do not want the location to become too well known, fearing that would then be overrun by the greatest monster of all: man. So my trip there was planned in secret and I had to remain blindfolded during my flight. But it was all worth it, Monster Island was the best vacation I've ever had. Being able to walk up to a 20 foot high bug was just about the coolest thing in the world. I thought the giant ape and other "Monsters" on the island would be in cages, or inaccessible, but tare quite friendly and accessible.
