Women of the Bible

Who are they and what were they like?Little is recorded concerning the women of Biblical Times. When she is given a name, we must assume she was an important person.

I decided to make sculptures of the women I found most interesting, trying after much research, to imagine living in their time and circumstances.

The sculptures were cast into bronze individually from the hard wax formed by working with a torch, soldering iron, and various tools. Then with the use of chemicals I put on the patina (color).

I hope that you will be inspired to learn more about some of the women in the Bible who may be of interest to you and that you will also find them very interesting and exciting.
