Other Questions
If the following does not answer the questions you might have please feel free to contact me.
  • Commissions
I accept commissions but only works that are variations of my existing subjects, colours and materials. Commissions are accepted with a 30% non-refundable deposit of the final costs (materials and set up costs).
  • Quality
Some paintings are painted on silk, others on rayon or cotton which is always part of the description. All silk art is painted on real silks. Threads used are silk, polyester and cotton threads. Filling material is high quality polyester. Silk and textile paints are heat set, light and water fast. Additionally I use acrylic paints, pastels, metallic pigments, acrylic gel and other materials.
All paintings are mounted on stretcher bars and are ready to be hung with or without additional frames (gallery wrapped), the scrolls are mounted with hand made wooden dowels which can be removed for framing. The large drawings are mounted on silk/paper scrolls but can also be removed for regular framing (without that scroll). Silk carvings are hung with small invisible plastic dowels through a sleeve on the reverse side.
All silk art is carefully backed with fabric, also the silk paintings on stretcher bars. As a full time working artist excellent workmanship is paramount for me.
Quality does not end with finishing the work. It continues with careful packing and shipping. Please find description and photos click here
  • Reproductions
I don't do reproductions - all art works are unique originals, created from my own designs. All pieces are shipped with a certificate of origin if requested and any information about care taking if you wish. |up|
