Short Stories
One of the first genres that I explored was the short story, which by chance was one of the first genres that I read in my life. As usual, many times we tend to experiment with the elements of reality that we have contact with, thus applying a dose of our own creativity. So I started to experiment and found that this genre allowed me, in a brief manner, to express different ideas and contexts, without needing a great development in detail or a long duration plot. The strong emotional charge of a simple plot line became the most important thing, making the creative process of a short story a deeply emotional experience.
Along the years, I have written short stories with a variety of subjects. Through such process I have traveled from the world of feudal Japan to prehispanic America. I would like to share with you, reader friends, some of the tales which have arisen from this great exploration of the short story universe.
