Since I always feel bad for homeless pets in shelters, I've put up this page...wouldn't you be kind of sad if you were an animal without a home? then I would recommend sponsoring a pet or donating to your local animal shelter

There are lots of shelters out there, you can even search on the i-love-cats.com adoption and rescue search engine and they will need help with getting more volunteers too and if you don't have any pets or you need a pet at your home to have a friend adopt another of that pet believe me your pet will NOT be bored anymore! just ask me, my new kittens Star and Tony like love each other now that they are little playmates! I would recommend you see the Animal Haven Shelter to donate items and money, sponsor a pet, and to become a volunteer to help those poor pets out there
You can donate things like cat carriers, blankets, paper towels, squeaky toys, etc but if you want to donate money the more the better the link I listed above says that if you donate $15 or more they will send you a gift card!
Or at the Pet Animal Hospital (located next to the Salvation Army in Jamestown) you can drop off your pet and they will put them in a special chamber and they will also feed them for you unless you'd like to bring the regular food and a couple of items to make your friend's visit enjoyable, and if your pet has a disease or needs medical attention this is the place to take them...if you want to visit the hospital's website I've provided it below
