Hey! Thanks for stopping by to check out my website. My name is Stacie, I'm a 29 year-old self-taught seamstress who started sewing back in 1997, and selling on ebay back in 2001 with my grainy ole web-cam. :) ... Soon enough, I had whipped up my own little corner of the world with this website!

This summer, I moved from New York to the Rocky Mountains with my fiance, Colby, and spend most of my time as an Event Coordinator for a production company in Denver. In my free time you can probably find me either sewing, dabbling in photography, romping around town soaking up the local culture, making mix CDs for my friends, watching Mythbusters or the Food Network, snuggling with my kitty (or my fiance..) or re-arranging my apartment (I love to redecorate and make our place feel new again).. So, the reason you're here - the sewing!

My urge to sew came in the form of a cliche movie scenario - It was a dark and stormy night, I was hanging out, mulling around, until I decided that I must sew something immediately.

I'm not exactly sure how it came to be that sewing tickled my fancy at that moment in time...I hadn't sewn anything since Home Economics class in junior high school (I made a pair of jams - remember those??!) - and not a very symmetrical pair at that. They looked like a pair of shorts married a pair of pants on a drunken night in Vegas.

Not stopping to ponder the ways of the world, I took my urge into the night, and drove twenty minutes to my aunt and uncle's place. When my aunt opened the door - hesitantly, I might add (who would be out on such an ugly night?) - she saw me through the peephole, shivering, my glasses full of raindrops.

After explaining my desire to use her sewing machine, we set everything up and I went to work. In the end, I made the most horrid skirt you'd ever laid eyes on. To walk in this thing successfully would make you a contender for the Olympic Games.

Needless to say, that night set the precedent for the fervor that fuels my urges today. I'm proud to say I've come a long way in the ten years I've been stitching. Through trials and tribulations, I am confident my clothes are of high quality, and not to mention, handmade with oodles of lovin'. I pay very close attention to detail (the Capricorn in me) and make sure that your clothes will last you many years to come. Thanks for checking out my site!
