Rates are $760/week and $730/week for return campers. Multiple week campers attend field trips every Saturday. Bring your own horse if you want to, or ride one of ours. No charge for board if you bring your own hay.

Eventing coaches TBA, currently interviewing a past O'connor apprentice, past Olympians, and more outstanding professionals in the field of Eventing! Receive an unprecedented camp experience for only $1,100 a week. Bring your own horse or ride one of ours.
Happy Camper Camp: This camp appeals to both the beginner who can only handle 2+ hours of riding a day, AND the aspiring trainer who maybe owns her own horses, gets plenty of ride time at home, but wants to expand her knowledge of training horses and/or equine science. (Happy Camper SCHEDULE) Additional ride time can be purchased for $25/ for a half hour. Training and Vet Tech cells are a part of this camp, and a select number of campers have the opportunity to work alongside a vet, shadow an Olympic bound dressage trainer, TRAIN green horses everyday (learn ground driving, intro to saddle/bridle, how to teach a horse to tie, and more). Contact us for details. Multiple week campers attend field trips every Saturday. Rates are $670 week and $650/week for return campers. Bring your own horse if you want to, or ride one of ours. No charge for board if you bring your own hay.

Campers have the option of staying 1-6 weeks. If you have been searching for an overnight horse camp, you have just found "The One". You will be immersed in the world of horses from the moment you step foot into the storybook setting that is Chastain Mist. Golden Palominoes with flowing white manes, glistening Copper Penny Chestnuts that prance up to see if you brought a treat, and our newest addition, the Friesian Stallion, DOLCE....there are 56 horses in all, most of which are show horses who know the ropes and love to teach! Large rolling pastures, a jump field, a dressage ring, bridle trails....it's a horse lover's dream.

A day at camp is spent learning about horses from field professionals, working hard to become better riders, and laughing with fellow campers. Nights are spent around a large river rock firepit, with a crackling fire. Here stories of horses abound, goals are set, and a magical feeling surrounds us all. What happens at Chastain Mist is indeed difficult to describe. But it must be wonderful, for campers who choose Chastain Mist once, often choose Chastain Mist every time thereafter.

The success of CM is due in large part to the diligence and hard work that is put forth months before camp begins. Campers are presented with a Campus that meets rigid health and safety standards, adult Counselors that are trained in all procedures and with a true desire to ensure Chastain Mist lives up to each camper's expectation, and an adaptable curriculum that challenges every level of rider. We are confident that Chastain Mist is THE camp for any girl who loves horses and wants to become a better equestrian.
