We repair all of the Vintage Sansui Receivers, Amplifiers and Tuners

By far the most common are the "great big receivers" 8080 and 9090. These are usually treated as repair / overhaul items. We repair the evident problems and the do a complete overhaul. This involves replacement of dried out capacitors, overheated resistors and noisy transistors. All circuit boards are resoldered, switches and controls cleaned as well as replacement of the dial lamps. The usual cost will be $275.00 to $375.00.

Similar costs and procedures apply to the "G-Series" G-2000 to G-33000 and the Integrated amplifier "AU-Series" AU-217 to AU-20000. The lower powered units tend to be lower in price that the top line "Thousands" (2200-to11000) series. We have repaired and restored many of these amplifiers with very satisfactory results.

Most "B-Series" amplifiers are repairable, but there are parts issues with some model so please contact us if you have any questions.
