We repair most Krell  products. As there are some issues as to part availability for some models please contact us before sending your unit in for repair.  Some specific items are listed below:

KST-100:
These develop a problem of one or both channels distorting, especially on low level signals. Krell used substandard  filter caps on the driver board and this is the cause of the problem. We upgrade all the caps on the driver board with high-temperature low  ESR caps and adjust the offset and bias.

KAV-300:
 No audio, frying sound in speakers, smell from unit:
Leaking caps cause damage to driver circuit board. If corrected in time unit can be repaired, if corrosion causes board to burn unit may be beyond repair. If repairable a  complete cap upgrade and cleaning of PCB is 375.00

KAV- 300 :
Intermittent audio one or both channels:
Caused by defective mute relay, we upgrade as part of the service listed above.

KAV-300I / 500I; KAV 300R
Again, bad caps cause problems. Cap upgrade 250.00
