We repair and restore both tube and solid state Dynaco products. We also install any of the DIY  upgrade kits on the market and offer custom options as to caps , power supply and tubes.


TUBE DYNACO: Standard repair/upgrade:

MARK III
Replace all resistors and caps, using film/foil polypropylene and metal-oxide resistors, upgrade power supply 275.00

ST 35
Replace all resistors and caps, split output tube cathode resistors, upgrade power supply, replace RCA jacks.
$250.00 Note: we suggest using TESLA EL84L as output tubes in this amplifier.

STEREO 70:
As above units, 275.00, with cap upgrade option extra 25.00.
We advise using TESLA EL34 as output tubes in this unit.

As many of these amps have severely damaged driver boards that are almost unrepairable it is often a better idea to replace the board. I have a design I use, based on the venerable Mullard/Leak circuit topology. I like this design, it sounds great and everyone I have done it for has been very happy with it. The cost is 300.00. PAS-3
Replace all coupling caps, power supply, plate resistors
Basic service 185.00, jack and cap options available.

We install most upgrade board kits into the ST70 for 125-200.00. Please inquire for specific details

SOLID STATE DYNACO:
We repair all solid state Dynaco amplifiers and preamps.
PAT-4:
Standard upgrade/overhaul, replacing all electrolytic caps with upgraded types, upgrading phono input transistors to low noise types, replacing rectifiers with UltraFast rectifiers and cleaning of all controls and switches.  Cost is 250.00
Most other solid state Dynaco amplifiers are treated as repair/overhaul items, with no major modification except replacement of  defective caps or semiconductors.
