Bryston products are of high quality and most of our service is limited to basic repair , usually related to transistor failure or power supply problems.  Repair costs have ranged from 150-250.00, the higher prices when multiple output devices have been replaced. As Bryston products last a very long time, we are receiving many 20+year old items that benefit from a through overhaul / upgrade (see below)

Bryston amplifiers respond very well to major component upgrades and we have done quite a few extensive modifications that worked out very well.  We replaced all resistors with high  quality resistors, used low ESR filter and bypass caps, replaced ceramic caps with silver mica, replaced bias pots with precision units, and added bypass caps to critical areas. The results were quite noticeable - every client we have done this level of work up for has been very pleased with the results

Bryston preamps are generally of  high quality, repairs have been limited to routine service, cleaning of controls and switches, etc. Usual repair charges of 125.00 are about average

We have done some extensive mod work on Bryston preamps with excellent results.
We have replaced all diodes and rectifiers with UltraFast types, upgraded the power supply and bypass caps and separated the power supply from the main chassis. These  have run about 400-475 and we have had very positive feedback from our customers on these jobs.
