We repair
Bedini amplifier products. The most common models being the
100/100, 150/150, and 200/200 series.
When these amplifiers quit there is usually a complete failure
of all the transistors in one channel at once. As most of the
transistors used in these units are discontinued, we have
researched a selection of equal or better subs for the original
numbers including much heavier rated power output transistors. We also
replace some bypass caps that tend to dry up.
Cost of repair is usually $200.00 - 350.00 depending on model as both
channels have to be rebuilt to match.
These are unique amplifiers and have the ability to control
"difficult" speakers due to the topology of the output stage.
We have repaired many of these successfully, despite the
reputation of these being "touchy" amps.
It is important that these NEVER work into a shorted load, they
will be damaged if this happens.
