John and Roger were ready and unleashed the giant skeleton puppet they
had saved for all summer long ... just to scare Cory!
Cory stopped when she heard a rattling sound coming from behind her. Not
daring to turn around she continued slowly walking forward with the
skeleton close behind.
"When is she going to turn around?" Roger asked.
"Rattle them bones a little more and then she'll turn," John said.
Roger was about to have the puppet touch Cory when a voice from behind
them said, "BOO!!!"
Both boys screamed like girls and ran past Cory, dragging the skeleton
behind them. Cory didn't know what to do but a voice said, "Go home Cory
... those two I'll take care of later."
Cory went home with a big smile on her face but, who was the voice?
I'll leave that mystery to you, Gentle Reader, to solve :)
