SINGLES PICNIC IN THE PARK

Singles picnic is a monthly gathering of single people in the Santa Barbara area. The age range is usually from about 35 to 60, but there are no age limits. This group was started by a few local single friends, for the purpose of meeting other single people.

The intent is to bring together single people for a very casual, low key atmostphere, where people can talk and feel confortable.

Bring food for a pot-luck brunch/lunch and/or a non-alcoholic beverage to share. If it is possible, but certainly not mandatory, bring a friend of the opposite sex to provide gender balance.

A suggested donation of $5-$10 is requested to help with the costs of paper plates, plastic utensils, and costly newspaper advertising.

DIRECTIONS TO THE PARK
the picnic is usually held at SCOFIELD PARK, area C or D. Take MISSION turn off from 101, and travel north towards the mountains. Pass the Old Mission to foothill. take a right onto FOOTHILL and travel about 1/2 mile, turn left onto MISSION CANYON [The fire station is on the right; do not go passed the fire station]. Go Past Tunnel rd [keep right] about one mile and take a right onto LAS CANOAS. Go up Las Canoas to the top [about 2 miles], just past rattlesnake trail, to SCOFIELD PARK, on the right.
