Supplies needed, pliers or scissors to keep from burning your fingers, incense and burner, and fire of some type.
Hold the incense cone in your pliers, small tip down, and light.
Let it burn for a full minute or so. You will see the oil come to the surface. If you skip this step, your incense will go out and not burn completely.
Blow out the flame.
Set your cone right side up in a fire safe burner.
