4th March 2004 - LIVE from The Centennial Arena, Calgary, Alberta, Canada!
World
Heavyweight Title Match
Barrister VS.
Another Dead Hero (with Special Guest Referee, Cav).
Commish: "A long discussion with a lawyer brought about this Match. Whilst Storm has threatened a lawsuit against CWA if he didn't get the Match he wanted, we decided to take a risk to avoid any other lawsuits from other wrasslers. So, yes, Storm will get a shot, but he won't be the referee here. Cav is taking that spot to follow through what he started at Massacre."
b00t: "Barrister has had
quite a month last month, and Another Dead Hero has as well. Cav will be
officiating this CWA World Heavyweight Title match in an attempt to name a true
champion. Standard rules in this one, people. I have to be pulling for
ADH to take the win.
Buried
Wraith VS. Sean Nightmare.
Commish: "Sean Nightmare beat Chevalier at Massacre (even if it may not have been him) and challenged Wraith to a Match. Wraith accepted, but something he said clicked with me... 'six feet under'... well one of these men will have to bury the other man in order to walk away with the Canadian Title."
b00t: "Although I dont know
very much about either of these two men, the match is sure to be a good one. I
*do* know that Sean Nightmare made himself known last month, and that Wraith has
had the Canadian Title for around 2 months now. Let's see if Sean
Nightmare can pick up the win over Wraith by burying him in 6 feet of
dirt."
Primetime
Kid
Notorious VS. Beano VS. Weatherman.
Commish: "Beano won a shot at Kid Notorious at Massacre and Beano still has some unfinished business with Weatherman that I decided to drag Kid Notorious into. This Match will be kinda like a Tuxedo Match, except the winner will be the guy who pulls down one of his opponents' pants first (a la Weatherman and Beano at Massacre)."
b00t: "A pantsing match?
Seems kind of odd to me, but if it gets someone a win, then it gets someone a
win. I'm assuming the only way to win this match is to see someone's rear end. I
have to go with Beano to pick up the win in this match. Weatherman and
Kid Notorious just need a bit more practice, even though Kid has been quite
successful in CWA."
Ignition
Korpral VS. Law Martin VS. Jack Roberts.
Commish: "Law Martin won a shot against Korpral at Massacre and Jack Roberts will be facing Korpral soon for the Tag Team Title. Who will walk out with the Ignition Title?"
b00t: "After an impressive
win at the CWA PPV, Massacre, you would think that Korpral would be worn out. He
defeated both Shug and Meth, and now has to defend his title in another three
way match - this time, with a Veteran. Law Martin will be in this match, and
Jack Roberts might be able to gain a title before fighting for the tag gold. I
have to go with Law in this one - he didn't have a PPV match, and he is
most likely well rested."
Blood
& Guts Title MatchCommish: "Cannibal failed to dethrone Wraith at Massacre but gets Violent Jack as his reward for LOSING USOB... grrr. This Match is Hardcore, but don't forget that Violent is Jack's name."
b00t: "El Jefe recently
dropped the B&G title to Violent Jack in the biggest swerve of 2004 so far.
Now, he is facing a former Smashmouth champion, who seems to be doing well
himself. Cannibal will have to take the title from Violent Jack in this match.
Cannibal has a history of being hardcore, and it may show in this
match."
Canadian
El Jefe VS. Mike Storm.
Commish: "El Jefe duped Mike Storm last month culminating at Massacre and Mike Storm will be going for blood in this one. There is an added prize, however, a shot at the Canadian Title!"
b00t:
"A shot at the Canadian title may make El Jefe want to stop with the swerves,
and focus on getting himself some gold. He faces Mike Storm in a contender's
match for it. One of the men, unless there is some kind of mix-up and both men
are in the next match, face either Wraith or Sean Nightmare. The question is,
however, is Mike Storm okay after a sledge shot at Massacre? Look for El
Jefe to steal this win."
Starting
Something Match Commish: "So, Meth is
gunning for Storm and Storm knows it and is gunning for Eric Side. Well, Eric is
aligned with Meth, so this could kill two birds with one stone, figuratively
speaking. Now, of course, Storm is lined up to take on the Heavyweight champion
in the near future, but could this set back his desire... or could someone
else?" b00t: "As stated above from the
Commish himself, Storm has a problem with Eric Side. Meth and Eric have formed
an alliance, and Eric is already in a match. So why not throw in Meth and Storm
in a match? Could the new young star, Meth, take out the old
veteran known as Storm? This is a standard match, and maybe Meth can even
get a title shot in the future."
Commish: "They're back...
I hope! The Dane and Zero have made it back to activity whilst Nick is lagging
behind with a few technical difficulties, but should be sprinting soon. Let's
see if this turns out to be an elevating Match!" b00t: "Okay, three people are
back. Zero Degree who was inactive last month, along with The Dane Sr and
Little The Dane Jr who was semi-semi-active, and Nick Bronze, who was completely
inactive. These three men will fight in a standard match, proving who the
best inactive is, I guess. I got to go with The Dane and his lucky
strikes on this one."
Storm VS. Meth.
They're
Back!
Zero Degree VS. The Dane VS. Nick
Bronze.
Guru VS. Drake Dustman.
Commish: "Drake's quite the drinker and I'm sure Guru can handle his booze. These two will pop down to the Bar at the Calgary Steak House and try to drink each other under the table (or into the table)! Will they come out 'loving each other' or will they come out on stretchers? Can't wait to find out!"
b00t:
"Drake Dustman comes from DRW as a recent member of
Patient Zero. He came to CWA as a drunkard, and Guru needs a match. Dead Star
thinks Guru looks like he can hold his own in a drinking contest, but let's
actually see what he can do. I have to go with Drake Dustman for the win
on this one, because Guru hasn't shown any signs of being drunk
lately."
They're
Osiris VS. Ice Man VS. Cameron Burr VS. Eric Side.
Commish: "Yes, they are new. This is pretty much a showcase of the new faces in CWA in March, and aren't they pretty! Hopefully they're characters will begin to unravel throughout this Match so we know each of them well soon enough. Welcome to CWA!"
b00t: "All I know about these men, are that they are already known by most of the fans that follow Wrassle. Osiris and Eric Side has to be the most well-known of the four, so I would have to go with one of them for the win. Experience also helps in these kinds of matches. Out of Osiris and Eric Side, look for Side to pick up the win."
b00t: "Well, that would definately be the card. CWA Rage seems like it's going to start the month off fresh, and even enduce a storyline or two. Good luck to everyone on the card, whether I was pulling for you or not. And so, this is the B00T saying, Au Revoir."
