Painting #96:

"Winter Cabin"

I began "Winter Cabin" on a day when the temperature was 94 degrees and the dewpoint was 68 degrees. Since heat/humidity and I don't get along very well, I think the painting evolved from a need to cool down on a hot, early summer's day! The painting was finished on June 26th, 2006 and is a 20" x 16" canvas. "Winter Cabin" is in the collection of Mary Hayes, of Pittsfield, MA.
