"Walnut Bowl"
"Walnut Bowl" is a 16" x 12" still life finished on May 16, 2006. It is in the style of the Dutch Still Life painters of the 16th and 17th centuries, a style that I have always admired and wished to emulate. The subject matter lends itself to wonderful interplay of light and dark, bright and shadow. This painting is in a private collection
