"Memorial Day"

This painting's title would have one think of a young woman longing for a lost love due to war but actually was occasioned by the disappearance of my daughter's cat, an equal loss emotionally. It is 16" x 20" in size and was completed in 1989, a prelude to another painting entitled, "The Cat." "Memorial Day" is owned by Viula Tremblay, a resident of the state of Texas.
