This painting is probably the only Impressionistic work I've done. It is predominantly achieved with knife work and the land is thick paint applied in an Impasto style, making the painting difficult to photograph well. It measures 30" x 40" and was completed in 1986. "Vermont Meadow" symbolizes lush fields strewn with rocks as one frequently sees in Vermont. The painting is for sale, with a price tag of $750.00, unframed.
