"Northeast Kingdom" is a 20" x 30" oil on canvas that was completed on June 6, 2008. It is a re-paint of the previous work, "The Old Home Place," which was a re-paint of the painting, "Bo's Right." It's a manifestation of the "multiple" aspect of my personality! Actually, the painting is one I did to get back to my Hudson River School emphasis; I have been doing alot of Still Life works lately and felt the urge to get back to nature. The painting "Old Home Place" was too orange and "Northeast Kingdom" marks my desire to paint more realistic color in the sunset and surrounding countryside. The painting is in a private collecton.
