Broadview Avenue:

One of Toronto's oldest streets

Originally named "Don Mills Road" or "The Mill Road" in 1799, Broadview Ave provided access to the important mills within the Don Valley.

It was an important route for the small villages east of the Don River that were still separated from the burgeoning city of Toronto to the west of them.

In 1890, the street was renamed for the broad view of Toronto's cityscape from Riverdale Park.

The stunning view is still there today.

blossomed into distinct and unique neighborhoods that include:
