Queen/Broadview
Village
At the intersection of Broadview and Queen
Street East lies one of Toronto’s oldest retail strips; the original
“main street” of East Toronto.
The businesses held within have changed over the years, but much of
the original Victorian-style architecture remains.
The historic location also has the geographical advantages of its proximity
to Toronto’s downtown core to the west, as well as the film district
to the South.
Businesses in the area today include design firms, antique shops, bars,
modern eateries, as well as the traditional greasy spoons.
Some of the “must-see” landmarks in the Queen / Broadview
Village include:
1. Broadview Hotel
2. Queen Street Bridge
3. Eldon Garnet - Sidewalk
Art
4. Streetcars
