Mr. and Mrs. Sowerberry's Funeral Parlor Of Madness

"Hello My Dears...what's going on in my parlor?"

"Oh, Daddy! We have guests! Let's get them all coffins! It will be absolutely lovely and all!"

"HENRY!!!! Get the people a coffin! Don't just stand there gawking. Honestly!"

"Yes, my sweet...right away. So I see you've stumbled upon our little family buisness. You may make yourself comfortable in this delightful coffin while I introduce you to my family."

"Honestly, do you have to talk so slowly, Henry! They'll be needing that coffin before you finally manage to cough out what you're trying to say!"

"Yes my dear. Right away my dear. So this is our little funeral parlor. I am Henry Sowerberry and this is my little undertaking buisness. Been in my family for ages, as you can see by this photo here. As you can see, I always was a rather...morbid young fellow. I would help my father measure bodies for coffins...and they were not yet dead in some cases..."

"And there were always little children."

"I always did enjoy the little children...I liked to see them scream when I approached them in my black suit. It was very delightful."

"For once, Henry, I agree with you. It always was fun, wasn't it?"

"Oh certainly, my love, certainly. This is my lovely wife, as you can see. Why, here is our first picture together after we were married. We were a handsome couple, were we not?"

"Come, Henry, you make me blush!"

"That's a first, Mother! You're usually complaining about how Daddy can't seem to give you any -..."

"Charlotte!! Shush! At any rate, Henry, that is a lovely portrait."

*Aside* "Of course my dear wife has been known to make milk curdle with her voice, but she's still my wife and I'm awfully fond of her. And she does look very fetching in her special coffin. She took to undertaking as well as I did. Just look at how she takes charge."

"And then our daughter came along."

"That's me...Charlotte!"

"Yes, our darling daughter. She always had a morbid streak in her too."

"Now that she's more grown, she has been simply uncontrolable! Very much like her father."

"I'm sorry, my pet."

"Yes, well, you mean well, don't you. But I'm sure I saw her with a group of wenches in some backalley somewhere. Disgraceful!

You must tell her that she's not to go out with such people anymore! She's to stay here and light the lanterns like a good girl!"

"Yes, my little coffin-bug."

"So now that you've met our little family, we will be happy to bring you any news of the morbid and odd. We specialize in all things dark and scary and we're very glad you could stay with us. Welcome to our Funeral Parlor of Madness."
