She had assumed…

She had assumed that he shared her feelings and thoughts. She had assumed that he would be happy to see her after such a long separation.

She had assumed that his heart would skip a beat…beacuse of happiness

She had assumed that he had kept her secretly in his heart, just letting her out from time to time when he was alone, or an old love song brought to life the vivid memories of so many moments spent together, and even more moments when they had been apart just missing each other and dreaming about each other.

She assumed he would remember the woman singing their song by the swimming pool…He had said that when he heard her sing he  rushed to phone her because he missed her…

She assumed that from time to time he still missed her touch and her love. That love that he always knew she felt for him…(it used to scare him, he did not want to cause her any suffering.)

She failed to assume that he might have forgotten her.

She had never assumed that probably he chose to hide her in a corner of his heart hoping that she would fade away, never to come out into his life again.

She had never assumed that probably he was relieved that she was gone.

She had assumed and not assumed so many things. You see, they never said goodbye. Last time they met, he came back to tell her "nada mudo, we will meet again". She believed him….

It would have been much wiser to part with a goodbye and to remain a happy part of each other's life forever….

Because of all that, she searched this world and the other hoping to find him.

She did not assume that he would be so scared to see her standing there, unexpectedly.

He was now thinking why had this happened when all was perfect in his life?. Done well, respected fellow and all the trimmigs….such a complication could ruin every thing…..he would probably loose it all: lareira, copa, area de lazer, etc.

He did not like the idea of sending an e-mail, she might come through the computer screen (like in the movie "The ring")

Now that she knew where he lived, would she show up darkening his door way with her presence, carrying a gun in order to kill everyone at site? He needn't worry, she is far too fofinha to fit through the screen and she never really saw "Fatal Attraction".

And it is not like she might take her place back in his life anyway!.

.Is it that he never got to know her or has he forgotten?

He should be able to see that all she needs is a moment with him alone to talk about it all… about the way they both felt for each other….

Oh, well, serves her right for loving the wrong person in the first place. After all, men are all selfish, a woman puts her heart in a relationship, but all they contribute with is their "membership"!!
