The quilt show committee and
judges reserve the right to reassign quilts
entered in an incorrect category. Entries
not assigned to the appropriate category by
the entrant may be reassigned to the correct
category or may be ineligible for awards.
Some categories may be combined if entries
are few.

First, Second and Third
Place Ribbons will be awarded in each
category. Additional awards such as Judges'
Choice, Viewers' Choice, Mayors' Choice and
Best of Show may also be awarded.
While utmost care will be
taken for each quilt, Patience Quilters, the
show committee, nor the City of Pineville
will be held responsible for loss or damage
and reserve the right to refuse and assumes
no liability for entries that require
special handling. No fragile embellishment,
special hanging apparatus, frames, etc.
Insurance against loss or damage may be
covered through your homeowner’s insurance
policy. The facility will be locked and
secure overnight. White gloved hostesses
will be on hand to assist visitors in
viewing the quilts.
If you wish to sell your
quilt during the Show, please state the sale
price on the Entry Form. Patience Quilters
will handle the transaction and charge
10% commission. Minimum value is to
be $50.00
Your entry must be available
for judging and display from Monday,
September 12, 2011, until closing of the
show on September 18 th,
2011.
No entry
may be taken down before the end of the
show.
The theme is
Louisiana: A Quilter’s Paradise.
Entries for the Theme Category must
illustrate the theme.
A separate entry form is
required for each item. Entry form(s) must
be received or post marked by Tuesday,
August 16, 2011. Submit to P. O. Box 12956,
Alexandria, Louisiana 71315.
A color photo of the entry,
judged or display only, must be included
with the entry form, one quilt per entry
form. Photos should be clearly labeled with
the exhibitor’s name, title of quilt and
size of quilt. A digital/computer printout
is acceptable.
Entrants are responsible to
personally deliver and retrieve quilts.
Quilts must be delivered between 10AM and
2PM on Saturday, September 10, 2011, or
between 9AM and 5PM, Monday, September 12,
2011, to Aunt Nell’s Quilt Shop. A receipt
will be given when the entry is dropped off.
Quilts must be picked up between 4PM and 6PM
Sunday, September 18, 2011, at Kees Park. No
quilts will be released without a receipt. A
late fee of $3.00 per item will be charged
if the quilt is not picked up timely.
